Issues mounting 203mm disc brake on shiver sc

Hi all,

I'm having a weird issue. I have some clarks S2 203mm disc brakes that I'm trying to mount on a set of 05' shiver sc forks. For some reason the disk seems to far away from the fork leg. I have had to space the caliper in towards the disc around 3-4mm, to the point there is not much thread being caught by the mounting bolts. Am I missing something? Is there a specific mount for these forks??? Am at a loss....

Get some longer bolts. Most IS calipers need spacers. 3-4mm is a bit excessive, but you should be fine.

You can or used to be able to get rotor spacers. Brings the rotor closer to the fork. You fit it then the rotor onto the hub.
Or use longer bolts.

Hope make them or used to at least and im sure shimano does too :?
CRC has 2mm in stock but if you contact hope direct theyll tell you if they have 1mm[and 2] and if thats the case just get your lbs to order them in
