QR20 Disc mount question

Hi all,

I have a question about qr20 disc mounts. I have a z1qr20 and a mr.t qr20 and both of these forks require a little concave metal piece for the bolts to screw into (see photo from dr. marzocchi). Or simply, there are no threads in the actual fork.

I found an IS mount from a junk qr20 fork, but that fork had threads in the legs and didn't require the little concave metal bit.

Does anyone have a hack for using the mount without that little concave metal bit on a fork with no threads? Sourcing that piece is going to be near impossible I'm guessing.

Thanks!

I don't have an answer yet, but I'm almost in the same boat. I have a Woodman mount, and I think one of my mounts is stripped in the fork. I had thought about using a locking nut on the inside of the fork leg instead.

Some forks had that round plate behind and some not. I think I have one left over and I already did the 3D CAD model to be able to produce that on demand.
So if you both want one I can ask for the price - no problem.
