Isaac Impact build finished

Hi all,

I just finished my first build, an Isaac Impact 2010, now I know this is retro biker and there are some retro bits on it, but also some new parts too.

Took it out for the first time today in the snow and mud and was really impressed .

Lots changes to my bike over the last few months,

I decided to give in to modern technology and step away from the retro parts, it pains me to say it but it rides so much better now. turns out the pace forks were goosed anyway.

Yup, I agree, I think an old frame works with new parts, but a new frame with old parts doesn't work so well.

That does look better now.

The old Pace forks looked too short, giving you a crazy steep head angle. I like old stuff, but I've got to say that some of the modern stuff does work better.

Cheers min, it's a little known fact that Isaac cycles was founded in the UK in 2001, the bikes were manufactured in Germany but the HQ was retained here. It's be cracking building it and even more fun riding it.
