I'm sure Gary Klein and Gary Fisher were well paid for their companies, and Gary Fisher certainly kept up a profile within Trek. The Bontrager one is interesting though. From a selection of great bikes to a generic component brand. I actually bought a Bontrager pump recently, lovely pump but is it a Bontrager designed thing? I doubt it.
