Is the M739 spider compatible with an M750 crank?

As the title says. Can you use the spider from a Shimano M739 chainset on a M750 chainset?

I'd say "maybe"

The M750 needs a bit of filing on he face to fit the m950

So similar may be needed?

I have M750 on a bike too... will check next time i take the crank off it you like.


I have a M739 crankset with a damaged pedal thread and three rings if you want it.

I believe not. Something to do with the thickness differences.
