The colour doesn't really matter, as long as it's black, I'm only using black....till they find something darker.
Joking aside.
Other colors are completely legitimate in my opinion. It's just much more difficult to develop a color concept for a bike than simply using black (this also applies to anodized parts). And since tastes are different, there will be a lot more people who don't like it than would be the case with black. Sometimes it even gets on your nerves after a while.
