Harder, no.

More expensive, definitely.

Their maximum final value fees have now almost DOUBLED from £40.00 to £75.00..!

Not such a big issue on high value items, but if you sell something for £750, you'll now be left with £675 as opposed to £710 previously, once you've paid the fees. That's not taking into account PayPal fees either :shock:

My worst ever Ebay sale was for an old router I had kicking about. Sold for 11p and I underestimated the postage, so I ended up making something like a 70p loss.

On the bright side, it's better than it ending up as landfill; I can't bear to throw things away that are in perfect working order and I sometimes use freecycle to give things away that aren't worth much, but might be useful to someone.

I also think ebay f*****d up a bit when they moved the watch tab to a separate page,now more people seem to watch your items than bid/buy them,as they forget to check what they are keeping an eye on.
