IRD Titanium Forks

I’ve heard that too. It takes a lot of effort/good design to make a solid Ti fork - especially if it’s a 1” steerer

Read the official blurb and they are designed to flex, Rod even went as far as describing them as suspension forks.

I wouldnt ride morzine braking bumps with them. but they're not too bad. no worse than a ritchey logic. I'm fairly lightweight, if you're heavier build, results may vary

I sold a NOS 1in steerer XACD Ti fork to a German for his FAT Ti and they turned out stiffer than a porn star at a first audition.

Mix up at the audition hey.. poor Thor Girthwell missed the memo ‘bout it being a gay shoot… 🥴
The couple of Chinese Ti forks I use (think one is XACD) are pretty flexy, slightly more than a steel Logic. They suit my lame-ass riding demands just fine though, I love em

Need pics pls 😁 The 1st gen XACD Ti forks had a tendency to snap. I got mine from an RB member and they were definitely stiff using thicker walled tubing. Wish i had kept em now but I have a factory BOI on the bike instead. Love the feel and ride of my Morati Ti forks. When Ti forks are done right they really do transform the ride.

They do indeed. The best upgrade I’ve ever made. I’d go as far as saying good Ti forks might be a better upgrade to a quality steel frame than a Ti frame would be.
Can’t wait to try my Morati’s later this summer, your enthusiastic reports are inspiring 😎

Interesting…never tried a Ti fork on a steel frame 🧐 Its always been an obsession to find the ultimate ride combo. I like a nice car like most but it excites me to see the bicycle taking greater prominence in cities and as a cool means of transport. I can see a time when retro bikes will be elevated to uber cool status.
