Hi Retro people

Just thought I'd say hello, been lurking on here for a good 18 months now

I've been mountain biking since 1991 at the age of 13, saved all my paper round money for 2 years and purchased a Kona Cinder Cone

Since then I've had a 1993 Lava Dome, 95 Zaskar, 98 LTS 2000, Orange 222, and now an Intense TracerVP

Grew up with Bredon Hill on my doorstep (Mint Sauce loves Bredon Hill) and the Malvern Hills in the distance.

Never missed a Malvern Classic, even lost to Steve Peat by 8 seconds in 98 on my old skool GT LTS

Well I'm here because I check the forums pretty much daily and thought it was about time I became part of the community

I'll upload some pics of my bike at some point

*Waves*

Rob

Welcome Rob,

Sounds like you're a proper racer type.

Maybe a good Idea to keep clear of my blather,It will probably just mash your head and slow your reflexes.

Nice one!

I'll bring my sleeping bag, Harmonica and hopefully a jar of jam.

I only know one tune though, do you like Kiley?

make sure its blackcurrant and you got a deal .. just leave Lady Gaga at home :)

I've said she can come but she has to stay in the truck.

I'm not sure how you gauge unfit, but hello from a lard arse who's down the road in Kirkby L. Should we give you a shout next time we're heading out for a XC ride or up to Grizedale? Not retro at the moment however! :?
