Hi all, right thats the intros done wiv.

Can anyone place an age on this, I need a seatpost for it, Sheldons website says 26.4 for 94, and 26.0 for 2000, but I've found an intermediate year that has another size altogether, I could try verynears on it I guess, but I can't find them, but maybe someone knows here.

Try this for the age

Brilliant! That helps a lot, so it's a 94, my mistake, Sheldons site lists 93 as being 26.4, and according to the catalogue, there wasnt one in 93.

a 27 I managed to get ito the split part at the top, but no further, so it could be either, I'll have to chase mates to see if they have a post that size, I know I dont.

No worries

the paint job is a lot better in the flesh, almost 3 dimensional, same on a GT roadbike I just got from the same era, crap in photos, but actually really good, the finish and detail on both are really very good, they're really nice bikes.

Once the Timberline is back in one piece, bang her in Readers Bikes, along with the road bike 8)
