Got to get an integrated headset for 'new' carbon frame. I've popped in bearings out of a regular headset out of curiosity. Bottom 8mm deep bearing fits recessed by about 1mm which seems fine. Top bearing is proud of head-tube as there's not much head-tube above the bevel. Top bearing is 6.5mm deep.. Is this normal or are there thinner bearings? Don't recall seeing any & search hasn't pulled any up.
Only info I have headset is it's TH No.42 sealed tapered.
