Bit of nostalgia here: there was a bike shop in Penzance when I was growing up called Geoff's bikes. This was in the late 80s/early 90s and Geoff's shop was essentially from the 1950s. With the benefit of hindsight it was a very cool place and probably stacked with obsolete campagnolo, but at the time though it was kind of interesting in a museum kind of way I certainly didn't want a bike from there.... Anyway Geoff had a go at the early ATB market with Gitanes before the shop sadly closed down.

I ended up hunting this down and getting it! it's too small for me so will move it on but for the springtime I can restore it and use it as a pub bike! the bullmoose is soo nice

I’ve put some new grips on as they were perished, I think the left crank is a little out of true so need to straighten or replace, need to get a brooks on it I think but it’s so solid, shifts are beautifully smooth and the brakes aren’t half bad either
