my head thinks "yer, thats clever that", my legs think "uff, fixed gear" as I can't see a freewheel on the back pedal.

It freewheels, but only forwards.

@novocaine I had exactly the same thought when I first saw one - I had the advantage that i could talk it through with Drew and he demonstrated how it wouldn't roll backwards.
