Here's a little update on the project! Frame is now painted and yesterday attached the decals on it. I was too excited to wait as this is always one of the best parts of projects for me The foil based decals (Palmer and INTENSE) came out really nice thanks to my local decal guy, and considering I did the drawing work and measuring based on old photos, the sizes of the decals were luckily pretty spot on! The FOX decal could've been a bit larger but that can be fixed later on.

So next up is putting on the new bearings that came in the post just yesterday. Then onto more dirty work as I need to remove the anodization from the shock linkages, wife's oven cleaner will again mysteriously disappear somewhere..

Also found some AME grips for it which Palmer used in his race bikes.

Frame restoration done! Shock links and seat collar polished, bearings replaced, and everything put back together.

I guarantee my workshop has a lot more old bikes, parts and junk than Velogi's one I've though had over 25 years of time to amass all the tools and everything, just managed to get everything nicely sorted out and rearranged the workshop maybe three years ago
