Size medium, raw finish with shock upgraded to a FOX RP2.

In good allround condition with the following points:
1. To fit a bottle cage with the wider shock the shock needs to be run upside-down. However doing this meant that I had to file a small hole in the black link to allow the shock body to fit in this position (see last pic). It's almost unnoticeable and does not affect the performance in any way.
2. When built up there was a very small amount of play somewhere in the suspension. However now as a bare frame I can't feel or find it anywhere, so if you'd like to replace the bushes/bearings that are worn you'll have to do a bit of detective work!

Threads are all fine, Intense branded seatpost collar and headset top cap included.

Top tube: 23"
Seat tube: 19"
Head tube: 1 1/8"
Bottom bracket: 73 mm
Seatpost size: 31.6 mm

£210 SOLD

Re: Intense 5.5 EVP frame

Gah - you keep posting nice frames!

Whats the shock e-e and stroke, always fancied one of these!!

Re: Intense 5.5 EVP frame

Haha! This is the last one, been having a big clear out.

This is a great frame, a real step forward from the Uzzi and Titus Motolite I've owned before, really floats over the bad stuff. However I ride mostly road now so this doesn't get the attention it should.

Shock is 190mm eye-to-eye and I believe 51mm stroke.

Cheers

Re: Intense 5.5 EVP frame

Out of curiosity, do you have a photo of the bike built up? Ive recently bought one second hand with a beaten up paint job (in red). Ive just stripped the parts and i am debating wether to raw it or get it powder coated? Cheers

Re:

Here you go.
Personally I'd go for raw, after stripping the paint you can give it an extra dose of 'rawness' with oven cleaner - looks great, I've done it with a few frames now. This one however was raw from the factory.

Re: Intense 5.5 EVP frame

Cheers. That is one fine looking ride. Im definitley going to go for the raw finish after seeing this, might have to get some white decals made up to go with my magura t150's.
