Intense 5.5 build thread

Re:

Quick update, I was lucky enough to get to ride Antur Stiniog yesterday with Dan and Gee Atherton and the little Intense was awesome. He managed 12 uplifts with no problems, and was finally stopped by a snapped pivot bolt on the last corner of my last run.
Its an aggressive ride, definitely not a sit back and pedal, its such a blast to ride hard! Next step will be some 140 - 160mm forks to cope with the hits a little better than the tired 33's. BETD are on the case with a pivot bolt!
Poorly bike pic attached.

Antur is ace isn't it? I'm going again next month and can't wait. I went in October and the weather was grim...the black scared the crap out of me!

BPW is well worth a trip too. Not as gnar but much faster on a small bike. Going back there too in July.

Re:

I'm sorry but I'm going to have to admit that I'm slightly jealous that you not only went to Stiniog but rode with Gee and Dan Atherton. However I'm also happy to know that the bike is so much fun to ride and sorry to hear about the Pivot bolt. Some people would say that Modern Bikes have no Soul, personally I think this thing has got the soul of a Demon and will consume you alive given half a chance.

Kind Regards

Liam

Re:

Glad to see you (just about!) survived you lucky so & so! Your old tracer is currently hanging from the garage ceiling while I decide how (and indeed, when) it's going to get built
