Inside our outside leg for disc hose?

Whilst i think i know the answer is running the hose from the calliper, inside the fork leg and through the hose guide on the fork leg at the arch (rs sid in question), after a lower leg swap on my forks today, it struck me that it doesn't look good/right, causes rub marks on the forks and wondered if/why there isn't a better way?

Anyone do anything different?

Inside as it reduces or eliminates hose getting caught. It shouldnt really rub as there ought to be a clamp on either the leg or bridge. A cable tie can be used either by design (some sids) or to prevent further movement and chaffing.

Note some callipers e.g. formula r1/rx avid with banjo fitting can have hose angle changed by undoing the banjo bolt a tiny amount just enough to rotate the banjo fitting, and tben tightening it. This can help with hose routing, on the rear you need to allow about 20 mm between hose and disc, last thing you want is the disc cutting througb the hose!!!

I route it up the back of the leg and along the top- pic.



Not that tidy being just slices of inner tube but it holds and directs better than zippies.

Looks ok to me buddy!

But what do I know, I don't have discs. Yet! :facepalm: . . . . . .
