softride in general, seeing where people try to put bottle cages on softrides is always amusing
Anything with a rear triangle bb, a problem of chain retention solved by making your ride immensely worse, and then solved for real by narrow wide chainrings
Pivotless suspension, I love my flexible chainstays and all but they’re nearly non adjustable with the top 1” shock and now you really only see it as supplementing a full moving rear triangle

This is the only set I have ever seen anywhere. They were NOS when I found them, not anymore. Duck Norris didn't like wearing them, though. He was rather inflexible about it. Zero reach stem may also have played a part

I think I've seen a couple of hundred thousand cyclists over 3 decades, and you know those ones who tell you they know more than you? and i can say this for a FACT:

the most useless of all those groups is the solid tyre brigade!
