Inner brake cable for 1997 Pine Martin

Evening. I am replacing same on Deore XT combined gear and brake levers, The ones I have bought are too thin and the barrel slips out when located. Need ones with larger barrel any ideas? Colin

You need to buy xt branded cables, they have a plastic shim that goes on the barrel end of the cable. You can find them on eBay or buy them from bicyclist.cc
