I had a 3m length of laminated glass through my hand in a similar fashion, 10yrs ago, so can pretty much vouch for the pain (about 6 months and 3 ops in my case) :eek:

The only difference was when I flexed my wrist, I didn't pull an endo :LOL: :LOL:

and if so where were his tools. imagine having to walk home, lift the bike over the gate, get to the shed, remember its locked, go in house, get told off for bringing bike into house, find key, back to shed, find every allen key apart from the one you need...
 
a friend of mine got a magura lever blade stuck in his thigh up to the cylinder :shock: pulled it out himself, stuck some tissue in it, tried the same gap again and promptly fainted. hero.
