So it looks like far eastern made Ti frame. FWIW I reckognise the Rock Lobster from advertising in the UK mags, but I've never seen one of their bike in Holland.
Aesthetics are important too but in the end "the ride" prevails for me. I value the fine tuning options of rotating a riserbar in the stem. And to get the correct seating position with a high rise stem scores less on aesthetics. Remove the barends and it looks better, I know, but again I value the options they provide. And I've had these Onza CW's fitted on my bike(s) continously since 94.
I'm likely to build plan A first with a triple and ride it, and meanwhile convert the Mongoose to singlespeed.
