this is a hard one, like i said earlier, i know ive only tried it with one setup of parts (well 2 pairs of forks) but its reminding me of the litespeed i had. if i was to pinpoint one thing it would have to be the headtube angle, i refer steep head angles and this isnt steep enough for me :roll:

I think you're being a bit rash, although obviously only you know how the frame feels to you. It may not feel right, but I would be very surprised if the head angle really was slack with that short Judy fitted.

Did you check the serial number to establish for certain what year it is, as that would be a starting point for establishing what kind of fork it was built for?

yeah checked and its a '97 frame, i guess i should have tried a few other forks but i would think a 1996 judy would be about blob on as far as travel and age is concerned.
