Re:
Hi Seffan,
Sorry to write this publically but sincryou have failed to acknowledge the theee PM’s I’ve sent you on this topic, I’m hoping this will get your attention. Rest assured that when you make contact, I will edit this post as appropriate
I have a problem with the frame not meeting it’s description. You state it is in great condition when in actual fact there are multiple chips and scratches on all tubes
More significantly, the “ding” on the left hand seatstsy is actually two dents and whatever has caused that has hit the tube with sufficient force to bend it by approx 2mm, which I can see by eye, let alone when I put a straight edge against it
I was really looking forward to building and riding this bike and went to the effort of sourcing a matching fork as considerable expense.
I wasnt expecting perfection, but I also wasn’t expecting a significant frame repair and partial repaint
I like the frame and would prefer to keep it but I would also like you to contribute to the necessary repairs. I will use my local frame builder, Lee Cooper, who is very reasonable cost wise, to minimise expense for both of us. If this is not possible, I would like to return for full refund including return postage.
I look forward to hearing your response.
Thanks, Matt
