Yes and I rather like that colour, I don't suppose anyone has a RAL code for it? That model I believe is an Osaka Pro the top of the range model.

Thanks for that, I wasn’t sure what I actually had. I fell in love with the colour. I hope somebody can help you with the RAL code because it would be great to see a Hirame finished in that colour with pristine paint. Good luck with the project

It is made from Ishiwata double butted tubing which from what I can gather is the equivalent of Reynolds 501 or 531 I am not sure which.

Sadly.. it threw him off on it's maiden voyage hitting a corner at speed, the bike wasn't damaged but he was hospitalised for a couple of weeks and subsequently sold it to someone on LFGSS

If i knew he was selling it, i would have bought it ..

Firstly I hope your friend is doing alright now after their accident.

That looks good particularly the first photo which highlights the metallic gold paint, I have created a new post asking if anyone knows the colour or code for it or something close, that is what I would like to go with.
