inches to millimiters

what is 7/8" in millimiters.
I'ts supposed a handlebars diameter.

Hope this helps somewhat

22.2mm is the diameter for controls and brake levers, also some bmx stems
25.4mm is the std mtb size of stem
26.00mm is the std road bike size of bars/stem with 23.8mm for levers and brakes
31.8 is the new oversize found on mtbs and road bars/stems
