Lots of Sunshine and a few months later I have about 99% use back although the actuall injury is still numb and will probably stay that way.

It probably will stay numb. I had some nerve damage in an accident involving my right arm in the early 80s and it's still numb today.

about a square cm is numb and gets cut easily, thumb is stiff to use but not a hindrance

i've got a bit on my hand thats scared and numb too (knives and drink don't mix ) it's healed well tho
