Retro Newbie
I have for sale my beautiful Peugeot road frame. I bought it brand new in 1991 and never built it. Therefore it is in extraordinary condition for its age - like new.
Tubing is Reynolds 708, Hand Brazed, colour is an unusual lilac/ lavendar colour, comes complete as frame with 708 forks and a period 105 Headset. Again it is unused other than having been fitted. Frame is 23"/ 585mm seat tube (centre to centre)with a 22.5"/ 572mm top tube (again centre to centre).
I have many of the components to build the bike including Cinelli Barrs and stem, Campag Brakes (unsure of age as they came of my previous bikebut prob mid 80's, Miche Pedals, Shimano 600 front mech and last but not least a brand new pair of Campagnolo Strada rims built on Miche Superfast hubs. The rims and hubs were built at the same time of the frame and have never been used.
All in this would make a fantastic retro set up for someone with the desire to own an effectively brand new unused piece of road bike history.
I will sell individually or as a complete deal. PM me for link to photos and /or further details.
Thanks[/url]

Brakes

I'm pretty certain both the levers and calipers are Campag 'Victory', from (I think) late '84 - '87. Was using mine yesterday c/w period blocks and can confirm they work well. Drivers, eh?!

A mate of mine managed to buy one of these 708's, immaculate with full 600 STI group, only thing wrong was a sticky RH shifter due to non usage which I sorted for him. He paid £40 - LUCKY B*STARD
