Imlach's Sweaty Hippie Funk Collection, adventure bikes, rusty rats, cruisers and other alt bastardisations of bicyclery

Glad to hear
I think I've got everything except the crank, so the Altus(?) will stay for now. I literally have been wanting to replace that since highschool, I remember one of the "cool bike bros" mocking it in the parking lot 25 years ago.
"Why did you buy that cheap thing, it'll never last!"

If you want square taper and cheap go for the Truvative Isoflow, 104 bcd so you can buy a stack of cheapo narrow wides from Big Ali and you're sorted for years.

This one is dedicated to doing everything wrong for thirty years, a middle finger to the aforementioned "bros". I am keeping the front mech, I have a nos STX front mech to match the rear I installed in 96. I tend to procrastinate. Reasons

Probably be finished before my Rasta...
It will never be finished. Ever. Was a mongrel when I brought it home in 94, and I have changed just about everything since. Only pieces from the original purchase are frame, headset (damned nos Tange I found don't fit!!!) BB and wheels (which were mismatch anyhow). I believe you call it trigger's broom
