I've never had a Brooks. I've been resistant for reasons I can't recall anymore, but they're good ones for sure

Used to be but with the last 4 I've bought brand new there has been blemishes that shouldn't have been there and crooked rails. Their QC is out the window and considering companies produce stuff of equal quality at half the price... well... I love Brooks, for their range, but you're not paying for premium quality anymore.

And I can see a distinct difference in my second hand Brooks from yonks ago and modern equivalents. They are not of equal quality. anyone who says they are must be drunk.
