I'll add my Answer Manitou 4 pics. This project is still sitting on the back burner for now.
The lower 2 elastomers were mush and the uppers were very sticky. Seems the uppers were not originals? Mine had 3 larger elastomers instead of 5 smaller ones. Seals fell apart also. answer-manitou-4.webp

Graet post mate very informative i got a set of red manitou carbon ones the two legs move left and right can this be fixed when I take them apart or are the knackered also the manitou comp forks the decals on these aren't stickers think there printed on can they be brought back to life they have gone dull thanks

and the Manitou Comp, I have mine and it has the mark of having carried the odometer, the rest of the fork is more discolored, I also don't know if there is a solution, and I have searched and have not found stickers for it or its sisters

Despite the load of water inside hardly any corrosion. New seal kit and nos lowers (decals replaced later because both on same side)
