Not ridden a modern one but guessing it'll be a different beast. Was a joy to do a proper long ride on mine, tbh. Also lovely to ride because you just don't see that many out and about being ridden hard (well, I don't anyway) or that many polished frames. Fitted a shorter stem to mine now and rides like a dream - responsible but predictable; nice and chuckable too Love it.
