I'm going to throw something out there....JMC Content!

Re:

That's £60 each if only 75 of us chipped in. Or £100 for 45 of us, a small price to pay for a share in this beast! Also think what I spend at the pub every month

Re:

Yes as we all know though it's the last 5 seconds when the action begins, I don't know why people bid before then!

I don't think it'll get to £4500 this time. It's not being sold by the McRoy family so it may not have quite the same appeal (although it's the exact same bike).

Re:

Hopefully we will bag it and have a re-run of DIRT this august just like when the film was originally made back in the summer of 95

Re:

Right.

Time to get serious now. Rather than offer him £4500, shall I put a £4500 snipe on it.

I have asked the seller if he would be happy for us to pay the relisting fees and have no negative feedback left if for whatever reason we can't raise the money.

I'm happy to use my eBay account to bid, but need a bit of assurance that people will chip in. Happy to use someone else's paypal account to store the money while we raise it (a forum mod perhaps?!).

Re:

Just Pinged at £1775. I'm good for fifty squid. How's about the powers that be on here ? This is a great opportunity for site PR. How's about this bike being given a review in the mags ? Sure they could raise massive awareness and sponsorship to cover the full cost and give it a permanent home on view to Joe public.

What's to lose? I am in with the cash upto £100.

Ok.

Can we agree that we will pay the seller's relisting fees if we can't raise the money? It's only fair and he has agreed for us to do so without leaving any negative feedback.
