im after a cheap steel frame to build a single speed out of

im not after anything special maybe an old low end gt or something. The guy next door to me has an old red gt outpost but i cant get him to sell it me. i dont realy want to spend more than £80-£100. Hopefully one of you nice people can help me out.

What size?

I have a late 80's Diamondback (Ascent or Topanga? I forget...) that is about 19" or 20" that I will let go CHEAP if you are interested. Even has horizontal(ish) dropouts and under chainstay Ubrake so you could hack them off and not show the blem

I think it was originally white but its more of an off white cream color now. $20 USD plus actual shipping (method of your choice) and a good home. Its um, very stiff. Thats another way of saying it is not lite. I dont have an accurate scale but if you are looking for lite weight this is not it.

Pics, measurements and as accurate as possible frame weight forthcoming...

PM me your city and postal code and I will throw it into UPS.com for a cost estimate. Thats part of the reason I quoted the frame price so low to offset some shipping charges.

I have no idea what the estimates will be but its worth looking, no? Even if it takes a couple weeks to get there and is significantly cheaper shipping it may be worth while. And Im tired of seeing this frame in my garage, better that it get some good use!
