Sage advice which we all could taken to heart.

There seems to me to be a bit of tension around these parts lately, and I am not sure why. All of us are probably as bad as eachother for putting in a sarcastic or barbed comment on a thread that pushes our buttons for what ever reason. But I think it is probably better for the site as a whole if we all try and be a bit nicer.

I sorta agree and there were one or two threads that read like my kids arguing about who has claims on that last biscuits.

but, its a whole lot more interesting lately, real debate about real issues. Prior to last month, I saw the off topic area as a bit of a cliquey, back-slapping arena, best left to those in the know, and nothing entertaining for those not in the know.

Some years ago there was a foreign bloke iwith long hair and a beard who was all for such practices. Think it's his birthday soon.

It didn't end well for him unfortunately.

If people post up replies aimed at annoying people (and must confess I have done it in the past) then they should take the flak for thier own actions,so I have been told by mods in the past anyway.........
