Identifying Mavic Crossmax XLs

Hi everyone,

I've got some Crossmax XL 26s which I restickered and now want to find new spokes for - but of course the old serial number sticker is gone...

Can anyone help me determine the model / year of these, or even better give me a serial number from a pair of their wheels that are the same as those (that being what my parts guy needs to ID the right spokes)?

Images attached which I think show the distinguishing features. 26" rim brake, Crossmax sticker still on the front hub, fat spokes, annoying nipples. Oh yeah, and the original stickers were only on one side of the rims.

I always remember the product sticker being in the rim bed, at least with the road stuff.

2003 at a guess. Never seen this SSC version though. Even 10 years ago getting new spokes for Crossmax XL or SL was a nightmare.

Your best bet is Ebay; some people strip down trashed wheels and sell individual spokes.
