Identifying Marin bobcat trail

The frame i have is definately aluminium, but the 99 Bolinas ridge spec says it's a steel frame, so not sure.
Flufy chicken- do you mean 2001 bolinas or bobcat?
Swish colours are black/ red

This is the 2001 it was the 'closet' I found

It is Aluminium, but it is not this year.

But given the Palisades etc where using the Black/white/red swish, then it;s a good chance it's the 1999 bike with the name on the top tube of the bike in your picture.

Bikepedia relies on people putting the information there. Might not have been in whatever countries catalogue was used to fill it.

I was thinking that too, that it could be explained by uk spec with bikepedia showing american, or the introduction of the bobcat in aluminium in 1999/2000 using 99 style decals,

so this frame with older decals

if you sort of get what i mean, seems unlikely that anyone would rebadge a bike as a bobcat trail if it wasnt you see

1997 Bobcat was steel in and green in the UK and £395

1998 Babcat was Aluminium (the bottom of the range one), just below the Palisades, Silver frame, yellow 'Marin' decal and bright yellow forks to match.

1999 info is hard to guess but chances are it was the bottom of the range Alu frame as per 1998.
