Identify Titanium (maybe) bike

Hi everyone.
bike almost finished. I'm waiting for an Easton carbon seatpost to arrive.
apart from the saddle and the grips, I took most of the parts from an old Stevens MTB bought at a bargain price.

Nice find and bike looks good how can you tell if something's titanium is there any easy tips
There are some tips at the start of the thread, but basically the welds are a much closer width to steel than aluminium, and a magnet won't stick.

It's usually unpainted, and the slightly golden brown colour is distinctive, and even polished is not as shiny as nickel plate or chrome.

With experience you can feel the heat transfer (steel is coldest, carbon warmest) and sound the tube for thickness.

Additionally the frame ends and tube sizes and profiles tend to be distinctive, but this isn't definitive - you could do the same in other materials.
