Identify model/year Rocky mountain Stratos

I have my lovely & loyal Mtb since 2004 and always thought I knew what bike I had: a Rocky Mountain Stratos from 1994. But lately I'm in doubt!!!! It might be an other year or another model perhaps? Please help me with any information about my bike model/year. It will be much appreciated. Thank you in advance for your time.

Nice more or less original bike, with a sought-after fork. I have an '89 with the conventional seat stays. I would guess yours is a '91. What is the serial number?

It's not 1994, due to the design of it.

Also grab the serial of the inside of the rear dropouts (none drive side I think)

Probably a 1990, may possibly be a 1991 (same frame I think, but the 7000 series decal probably wouldn't be on the 1991)

Most the parts are later (stem 1992, XTR 1992+ also you could do with setting the canti's up better)
Syncros fork are not original to the bike as such, though probably worth more than the rest of the bike now.

Thank you for the info Fluffychicken. So its a frame from 90/91 thats built up a couple of years later? So its not a 1994 model, but is it a Stratos?

And how can I setting the canti's up better? Im interrested. Not that I have issues with braking: I have little refference with braking with other brakes, just dealt with it

Definitely a Stratos, and with that fork not something I would throw out of my garage.
