Identification help - Claud Butler

The 999's are centre pulls and would have had a brake hanger for the cable fitted to the headset. Not impossible its all been removed but a bit unlikely to have been converted to side pulls.

Thanks, I'm a poor student though and will avoid paying money where I can (hence spending £30 for the bike on ebay then £40 to have it working)

I can't see any evidence of there being centre pulls previously. Looking at the 1985 catalogue on nkilgariff the Cadet uses 730 side pulls and quick release levers which matches my bike.

Could this be an option? Besides the colour of course (the Cresta doesn't appear to be in blue either).
