I have a Kona frame that is beyond econimical repair but is too good to throw away. Have any of you make one into anything else for some retro coolness ?

my thoughts are Lamp base for the garage ? or a wheel jig ? I couldnt get away just wall art as that what its doing in the garage

Or is it a case of fare well ?

I need a trueing jig! What is wrong with the frame?

The seat tube snapped off up top by a previous owner, It also has a dent. I want to re use it as something usefull.

Cheers

I've seen pen holders made from the bottom of seat tubes - stands on the BB shell with stubs of chainstay to hold it up. The rear dropouts and a few inches of stays would make quite fine loo or kitchen roll holders with the addition of a suitable axle. Lengths of frame tube come in handy for extra leverage on spanners (unless they're _really_ thin walls...).

Great ideas, Maybe a Kona head tube pen holder on my desk at work  liking that.

I don't think the Breadknife would quite go for a loo roll holder, Imagine the scenario...... this retro bike stuff is now really taking the "P"

how about mounting the whole thing in a square frame and turning it into a front gate for the house? or maybe one of those baby guard things parents put at the top of the stairs?
