With John's nod of approval (obviously), I'm thinking of putting together a template for us to put together a top trumps game of the best of the best.

Apologies if this was all done already and I've joined the party late, but if not...

My idea is for people to submit their image, be it a Zooka or some Joystix or an Adroit, and I'll make the cards and upload them and we can play the biggest game of top trumps ever - maybe even go into the guiness book of records :) Might be the slowest game of top trumps too - another record in it for us perhaps?

Anyway, here's a (very) quick tester - obviously text and font etc can/ will change- and forgive me for not remembering when Fat's were first released.

Any thoughts?

Gus

<sigh.., deep breath> given how people dissagree over the "cool wall" how would people ever agree over rating of top trumps?

You invented it: you decide. Simple!

Need more categories though...

Weight weenieness?
RRP when new?
'Oooh you don't see those often' value?

I like that! But whoever decides, more and to be honest, better catagories. Have a think. They have to be able to carry over whole bikes, components, outfits, bike related hairstyles from back in the day? All sorts.

Great idea, go for it. You'll never get a group consensus for anything here so just go with whatever you think.

Looked into actually getting them made up yet?

How about Number of World Championships won by the bike (doesn't matter what sort DH, XC, SS etc etc) - might even it out a bit

how about how long the frame lasted before snapping or being recalled on warrenty.

how many were ever made(rareity)

Cracking idea,

Cost when new?

Rarity value?

I'll have a look at my eldest's top trumps see what other groups they've got.

Put me down for a set.
