Coming from a typograpghy background those type are too understated to be 1980's if looking at all the Raleigh 80's type is anything to go by!

.......The stickers are just stickers. Here's a list of the SB numbers for Frames made at SBDU Ilkeston before they went back to Nottingham

If the SB number on the frame is genuine then it's after 1986.

Ah NeilM, never twigged about the postcode which was a common thing to stamp BITD.

Looks like 1987 with a postcode stamped on too. Quite large - is there another 2 digit stamping on the BB - this will be the size. It all looks Cinelli - Fork crown, lugs and seat lug - it will probably have a cinelli BB too - Makes it a Services des Courses model - I think I see a Services des Courses decal on the top tube?
