Old School Hero
After much thought, I am going to offer this one up for trade or possibly sale. I would prefer to trade it for some high end components or even a frame/fork. I am not 100% sure on this decision, so not sure how long it is going to be on the trading block.
I bought this bike as a project as it has a great base. Frame, stem and fork built in 1988 Sebastopol CA by Scott Nicol.
This link has most of the history of the MT trials.

As you can tell this is a very well documented frame.
I am not sure how many of these are still around, but I haven’t seen a ton of them. My plan was to kick up the components, possibly repaint it and take it to the next level. It is in great shape and ready for riding as it stands (just needs a quick release, which I could probably dig up around here if needed. One of kind ride with the 24” rear tire.
IRC Tires are solid and impossible to find and in great shape. The Scott U breaks are perfect given their stopping power. As you can tell it is a solid base for an awesome winter project.
Also would consider trading for high end mountain bike. Would consider throwing in some cash if yours is worth more. Around an 18” Toad, Fat Chance Yo Eddie, Yeti ARC/FRO, Mantis, etc.
Please see some of the following posts for more details on the bikes history.
Thanks for looking.
I need some room for a new project. I posted this on fleebay, but if one of you all want it for $1,500 plus ship let me know.
Cheers,
Andrew
