Avion - These are the Japan made Ibis', are they? Who made them? Toyo?

It looks well put together, but Tange MTB is relatively crude material for what you would expect from an Ibis yes.

Well said, not being particulary aware of the Avion was surprised to see the tange mtb sticker.

The bike is an absolute beaut though, strong contender for BoTM.

Road trip. Plastic pedals on the Ibis. Had the future mother in law riding it while they visited us this past summer. I was digging deep making sure everyone had a comfortable ride. Ibis for mom, Fisher for dad, Kona for the sig other, I rode the Ritchey, and of course the boys rode their newer Trek's. "See honey, there is a reason we need extra bikes in the garage".
