I seem to have a GT habbit. slippery slope

It all started off innocently enough.
I got back into mountain bikes after 20 odd years in November. I dusted off my trusty Univega but soon bought a brand spanking Voodoo Bizango.

Then a mate told me about a Zaskar frame on FB marketplace that he had an eye on.
90 quid for an 18".
So I went and picked it up for him.


3 days later and FB Markeplace strikes again a 1998 complete GT Arrowhead and lots of spares for £35. The intention being to use it as a donor for the Zaskar.

Then in January I bought a Yellow 98 Zaskar frame off Ebay.

Last week FB marketplace turned up a whole GT Agressor 3 xc for £30 Its donated some bits to the yellow Zaskar

Sunday night I accidentally bought another Zaskar frame on Ebay.
So since November I have bought 4.
And tried but just missed out on Marketplace an Idrive and an LTS that were £40 each.

I'm gonna need a bigger shed.

The "accidental Zaskar"

The Yellow Zaskar. Now with a Bomber and a new seat.

The first Zaskar now it's Kevs . its got a SRAM 1x10 smoke and dart a Magura on the rear and a disc front.

Guess what this is?

The Arrowhead after it donated to a Zaskar. It had XT groupset.

The Arrowhead now mostly stripped of paint.

I haven't taken any pics of the Agressor yet . but its everything you'd expect a £30 GT to be. Heres the Marketplace pic.

Looks like some bargains to be had on FB. Love the final photo. Was that taken just before the seller nicked it?!
