Imax 2D, most of the brilliance without the "headache".

2001 (an iconic film ?) in 2001 at the Imax at Waterloo far better than any 3D film I've seen

Its best not trying to compare the picture you get at home with a cinema. Too much to even start discussing without heads exploding etc.

Although not IMAX, I did go and see the BFI release of Blade Runner last year. I have never seen a cinema so full in a long time.
