I made an album...

Rothchild

Dirt Disciple
...with my mates. We've been doing this a while, this is actually our 4th.

I see there's quite a few folk here who like their HiFi too. Although this record was entirely recorded and mixed in a suburban house in Cambridge I spent a lot of time getting it to sound good (collecting vintage mics is somewhat easier than vintage bikes as the storage considerations are quite different!).

I'd be honoured if you would give it a listen, maybe even buy it!

Let me know what your favourite track is.

Only listened to track one so far but that was way better than I was expecting and right up my street.
A job very well done I'd say.

EDIT: Track 2 came on and I liked that too so I just bought it. Very rare that I pay for music but that was good so I thought I'd support.

Better than pretty much any of the rubbish that I tune past on the radio. Is that a Rickenbacker on the first track, or maybe Tele with some effects?

Wow, thanks Totoro, that means a lot. I really hope you enjoy the rest of the tracks too!

Good spot, it's a Tele on a Fender Champ, captured with a Sennheiser 541.

I like track 1 and 2 more than the others but there are no bad tracks on it IMO. I've listened to the full album a few times now, I like that the tracks are rather short too, I often open tracks in Audacity and fade them out myself if they just keep repeating at the end

I'm going the throw a few of the tracks onto my mp3 player if not the entire album.
