Completely agree with you guys, about the riding. I am in mid 40ties. My daily commuter is a 14-year-old, 700c, single-speed, with Gates Carbon Drive and very standard, rim cable-operated brakes. Nothing to fancy, but it is the most used bike from my fleet. It just rides great, and the only thing I have to do with it is to pump up some air now and then. I sold so many bikes over the years, but this one was never on the "for sale" list.
As for the Peugeot, it is too small for me and my Missus is in love with her fake Bianchi, so may have to let it go.
