The few bits I was waiting for are in place now. The Spinner fork was faux fillet brazed and sprayed to have similar effect as the frame and cockpit. I think the first fork I did turned out better but it does the job and appears close to original. I used Deer Head canti's, levers, shifters, rear derailleur, Deore front derailleur, LX hubs with Araya rims, Vee tires (not able to set beads so have another set of 1.95 tires coming), Selle Italia comfy saddle, no name post, Tange Falcon headset, Tektro cable hanger, Suntour crankset, XT pedals, and a Specialized BB . Only thing missing is a rear skewer to match the front. The cool part was installing the rear brake cable, I thought I would struggle getting the cable on the back end but when I inserted it, it went right out of the exit hole. I had to try it a few time because I was in disbelief. I think I have a buyer lined up who had seen it while it was in pieces before I finished. Now I need to research value of the bike. Was a fun project and filled in some blanks about painting with an air brush.
