Old post a bit tight. Foot in frame, pull. Pull harder. Post fires itself seat smacks me hard under bottom rib right side. Heard and felt it bend in and spring out again.

Bit sore now strangely enough.

I have broken mine several times competing, a very unpleasant feeling and not easy to rest and heal.
